Glenroy v Rupertswood Practice Match

Very close contest in our Seniors Practice match against Rupertswood Football Netball Club on Saturday.

 

Although Rupertswood led throughout most of the game, the Roys kept the win within reach and came back to level the score in the final quarter. Unfortunately, we gave away a couple of free kicks in the dying minutes of the game which ultimately cost us the win.

 

Even though we lost the game, the Roys looked great on the day with solid defensive and some excellent work getting the ball out of the center, resulting in some quick goals clawing back the deficit to end with a close final score.
